A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Bioalpha International Sdn Bhd and Malaysian Forestry Research And Development Board (FRIM) on 20th May 2009. The objective of this MoU is to provide a general framework for the Collaboration on the fermentation of selected herbal plants. Both parties are collaborating in research finding of herbs ie. Kacip Fatimah, Misai Kucing, Hempedu Bumi etc. They intend to undertake R&D project on utilization of the fermentation into value-added products with special interests in the herbal related products. Both parties believe that the collaboration is able to bring about necessary technical and advisory services for the product manufacture, testing and commercialization of the relevant products.
