Bioalpha International Sdn Bhd signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with TCM Biotech International Corporation, Taiwan on 23 July 2009 which strengthens the existing collaboration between both companies. This will undertake a joint research on the strain identification, strain analysis and fermentation technology of Cordyceps sinensis.

The MOU signing ceremony was witnessed by President of MFTC Taipei, Dato’ Abdullah Mohd Salleh and Director of Trade, Mr Muhd Shahrulmiza Zakaria, Mr Chen Chei-Hsiang, Director General, Development Center of Biotechnology and Mr Chief Fu Chen, Chief Consultant of TCMM Biotech.
