BIOA specialises in the fermentation technology of medicinal mushrooms such as Cordyceps sinensis, antrodia cinnamomea, ganoderma lucidum and lentinus edodes mycelium (LEM). BIOA also actively get involved in the activities of extracting and processing novel biologically active compounds from natural sources & developing premium herbal nutraceutical formulation such as functional food & drink, and herbal supplements.

Bioalpha International Sdn Bhd BIOA possesses a GMP certified manufacturing plant to produce herbal nutraceutical products for both domestic and international market. Botanical Distribution Sdn Bhd Botanical Distribution Sdn Bhd is the marketing arm of the Bioalpha Group, where it distributes and commercialises all the in-house products.

Bioalpha Agro Sdn Bhd Bioalpha Agro Sdn Bhd is principally engage in the cultivation, farming and processing of Malaysian and foreign herbs. BIOA is planting more than 100 types of different medicinal herbs at the plantation land located in BioDesaru, Johor. These herbs are to be supplied to the company's manufacturing plant and R&D division.

BI's major products and services are as follow:

• Manufacturing of herbal nutraceutical products
• Provides contract manufacturing service (tablet, capsule, powder, liquid & tea bag forms)
• Provide contract fermentation service and supply raw materials i.e. Cordyceps Sinensis, LingZhi and etc.
• Develop & provide herbal nutraceutical formulations to external clients
• Provide a complete service concept; from the initial stage of product development to formulation, package design, production and logistics.
• Research and development in the fermentation, extraction and processing novel biologically active compounds from natural resources. These extractions would then be developed and formulated into healthcare products.
